Numeric text can represent values, labels, identifiers, measurements or ranges.
This tool identifies common numeric patterns and classifies them using nearby symbols and units. It can normalize grouped values and percentages, but it cannot always infer the real-world meaning of every number without context.
Grouped numbers
Values such as 1,250,000.50 and 1.250.000,50 use different decimal conventions. Choose the expected format or use automatic detection.
Scientific notation
Values such as 3.2e6 are converted to their numeric equivalent while preserving the original notation in the result table.
Ranges and units
A range such as 10–25 is stored as a range record, while measurements such as 450 ms retain the detected unit.
